2007+ Nismo Dual Intake System Pic
Why dont they extend the pipes though the holes and down in the bumper. Maybe that is what AEM will do. cai I second the stack issue but I got rid of my jwt due to heat soak.

Intakes are a waste of money for just about any car other than big V8's....It's all about sound and customization...Just like all the the other Z owners with the 03-06's, did any of you notice a gain with your intakes??? I doubt it, but you still have time to talk about the new 07 aftermarket intakes being a waste of money..Sounds like a lot of hating going on..LOL

...JWT average intake temp 115-120 degress (with heat shield)
AEM average intake temp 80-90 degress.
You think what you want but I think the JWT is a dyno intake as most short rams are.

your gona spend OVER $500 for like MAYBE 4 horse over your existing mod?
not to mention the loss of money for the stillen intakes, if you sell them you'll probably end up loosing at least $100
I bet it aint even that much better, you should wait for at least a dyno man seriously.
I mean, the only way I can see you doing this is if your doing something for engine dress-up or sound. I dunno though to each his own I guess.

Forgive me for saying so, but that's totally retarded. I guess name is everything to you?

Apparently you believe heat soak only matters if you are racing?
I have 4 friends with modded 03-06 Z's and not one of them have EVER complained about heat soak..Except one friend in Atlanta that is boosted... I have also had other cars that have been heavily modded and I have never personally encountered "heat soak" as far as bogging down the engine..I was also being sarcastic about racing the Z, stop and go traffic would be the only major problem I would assume to cause bogging down if the Z is your daily driver....I have never raced on public roads with any of my cars and I never plan to either.
Can an engine get hotter due to the type of different intakes??? Sure it can...Is there a difference in performance??? Until someone can prove this to be a fact instead of saying they feel a difference, or took temp. readings, I'll stick with what I have personally encountered...Oh, calling a person over the internet an idiot without personally knowing them is a little immature...Must be one of those internet gangsta's, huh?
I'm sure that running on the track or strip can for extended periods of time can cause problems, but do you track or drag your car that often???

Yes, the Z is my daily driver and I notice it in stop and go traffic. Honestly, with the 98 degree days we've been seeing lately it doesn't even matter. The car feels slower regardless.
It's cool! I'm sure it is possible during certain conditions, but I just want to know how it affects the car in an adverse way that is noticable..

You just have to look at the ECU. It pulls ignition after it see intake temps over 98 degrees. It wont bog down but you will lose 5% or more of your power. Will you butt feel this maybe not. But at the track you will see your times getting worse. Hence the temp reading. Sence your friends have not told you about the 5% lose then I am sure it is not real.
It looks like you have your mind made up anyway so enjoy your intake and have all the confidence that you know it is the best in the whole world...

I was talking about driving on the street...I don't track my car at all...I also stated that it is likely that you can lose a little performance on the track or strip, but I guess you were in a hurry to make yourself look high and mighty and didn't bother to read the whole post...
