Nice numbers. And sexy 510. I found someone selling one a few weeks ago but he wanted $2K and it was in pretty rough shape not running

That wouldn't be dynojet #'s. Several 265-270 dyno jet numbers have been postd. On something like a DD it'll put down high 250's.

Plenty of breathing room, test pipes + exhaust are very noticeable gains.

i8acobra- I was wondering the same thing about the SAE corrected ratings. I am thinking that the WHP numbers are independent of the crank ratings. So a dyno b/w an 03-06 and an 07 would show the same WHP differences whether or not you use SAE or Corrected numbers for the crank rating.
"Wednesday motor" is decades old.

Ill get graphs for everyone here shortly.

SAE replaced STD in the early 90s, no one that I know runs STD anymore, the numbers are pretty close though.

Depends, my dyno shop still used STD. The correction factor was closer to the actual #'s my previous cars put down since we generally have a cooler climate year round in my area.

Nah, both are valid correction factors, just based on slightly different temperature and pressure (etc). I prefer to use the correction factor that is closer to the actual #'s my car puts down year round. Being 8 months out of the year we rarely get into the 70's and above all my cars I've dyno'd here always get like a .97 SAE correction factor, but a .99 or 1.0 STD. STD ends up being closer to the car's uncorrected ACTUAL numbers.

It's not so much about seeing bigger #'s for me, but the actual #'s my car makes in my area. I always get my dyno files from the dyno op, so I can apply any correction factor for comparison that I want or people want to see after the fact.

BTW, where are your charts? I wanna see

[QUOTE=powermark]Our AWD dynojet became operational today as the 1st voyage was with my Z

Car ran a flat 12:1 AFR al the way accross

272whp with 84 degree air and no fan on the front, probably make 275 easy with it cooler and a fan on those factory CAI ducts, all stock. Not bad for a car rated at 306 at the crank

[/QUOT

Mark, you all stock ?

Man, I was hoping an HR engine would become available to me for my swap, but I'm making due with an 06 (non-revup) for now. Then in a year or so when I do the body work on my Dime (ie pull the engine & everything else) I hope I'll be able to snag an HR by then to be the foundation for engine mods. They seem like they have a lot of potential, along with the fact that they are built a bit better to handle the higher revs.

Nice Dime, I've seen pics of it before on the various 510 forums. I've been planning on painting mine charcoal gray, but there seems to be a lot of gray 510's popping up so I may stick with white, or find something a little more unique.
