Looking at the pic again there does look to be a sheild of some sort between the motor and the intake filter.

yeah i wasnt going to but im curious about these on my nismo Z. i got 6-7 months to enjoy them before i sell the car

We currently have alot of the Nismo intakes on order. We are just awaiting Nissan to ship them to us. Expected arrival was the end of this month however we havent recieved a ETA from them, so there might be a slight delay. Once we get more information we will let you guys know. Thanks for being patient guys.
