Anyone else think it looks like a rebadged AEM?

The two ideas I have if it doesn't work, would either modify the shield with a cut in it around the bar, OR, the better way would be to get some washers and lift the center part of the bar that has two bolts on each end up like we do with the strut bar to give it a little more room. This should still clear the hood as well.

But IMHO I think it will clear.
It's probally a tight fit. When we were installing yesterday, everything was a tight fit and not exactly 100% flush.. got to kind of move it around. As for the headshield fitting under your nismo strut bars, I think a better solution would be to trim 1/2inch off the top of both heatshields and then insert the rubber seal thing on top.. (if it does not fit.) U can kind of bend the heatshield to make it clear too.. his heatshield came prebent (damaged in shipping?) and we had to kinda bend it back.

could be, it comes with a dry filter element, which i've only seen on AEM filters. But the filter itself is white, sort of OEM like material.. not bad.

btw there were suppose to be these foam inserts that were suppose to be added by the exposed sections on the passenger side heatshield to close up that 1 inch gap between the heatshield / bumper. We never had those.. if you guys get those in the box let Allen know.

I'll do one better for you.... I measured the outside filter measurements and the airbox bracket measurements that the filter must fit into:

OUTSIDE MEASUREMENTS
33 Height in mm
181 length in mm
168 width in mm

INSIDE MEASUREMENTS
27 Height in mm
170 length in mm
157 width in mm

Let us know if you find compatible K&N replacements SOLO... I'm interested in replacing the stock intakes and just dropping K&Ns in.

I need the following below:

Height in mm
Outside length in mm
Outside width in mm

H - Height
A - Outside Length
B - Outside Width

The outside measures the overlap past the filter brackets... The inside is a measurement of the actual filter brackets. If the filter must fits within the brackets, don't you need the inside measurements as well as outside??

The width is 8mm to short... But it should still overlap the filter bracket (157 vs 160)!!!
