Default simple Bolt's On 06 350Z worth it or not?

well guys this is my first experience with a normally aspirated car, my last 2 cars were a 2006 STi and after that an EVo IX but got rid of both, both were fast 400awhp STi and EVo 350awhp, so now, i just want something for daily drive fast enough not to miss my STi n' Evo, this a 2006 350Z STock , i wanna add some mods, to make at least 270 or 280rwhp without going turbo or supercharged , i dont wanna be dealing with build motors and all that. what mods i need to do to make this happen? thanks..

when i first bought my 06, it didn't feel zippy enough. seeing that you're coming from a history of fast(er) cars, no bolt ons will get you that familiar feeling of acceleration. but if you're looking for something faster compared to stock, MREV2, spacer, 3.9 gears are all popular, bang-for-buck mods

alan i also had a wrx before this. My car was just a simple stage 2 car and my g35 feels way slower. Im also debating weather it is worth it to do boltons.

Simply put, bolt ons aren't going to feel THAT much faster (aside from the car being louder-so it seems faster). If you want bolt ons I would recommend, starting from the Motordyne Mrev2 + 5/16" spacer, headers, test pipes, full exhaust + UTEC tune. Don't forget the popcharger! Many have been pretty happy with this type of set up but don't expect it to kick like the sti or evo.

you can easily obtain 270-280rwhp on a revup with bolt ons...

your car was turbo so it will "feel" faster than a linear engine such as the g35/350z.

wrong forum, the 06 is not a vq35hr

also, this type of question is usually asked by someone who hasn't been searching the forums much / browsing through old threads.

search for dynos and figure out what kind of equip people are running on their cars.
