I heard from Ed(precision Z) that he talked to whoever was running the greddy stand at Sema and got that the TT kit was awaiting to be carb approved and they said that it may take a while and may not even get teh approval. So that could possibly be why the wait is still going on........ideas?

I don't like the idea of a 17/18/19 year old kid getting handed a high powered car because its not showing responsibility by his parents. If I could have gotten one, I would have, my parents wouldn't let me buy the WS6 that I found after months of searching, because on test drive, I drove for 10 minutes or so, then my dad got in, and within 3 minutes was pulled over for speeding. The cop was a friend, no harm, but it was a wakeup call. There is NOOO reason that at 17/18/19 anyone should be HANDED a car that powerful. I'm 21 - have driven without a ticket, wreck (well, now a log) etc. for 5 years, ridden ATV's/dirtbikes for 18 now....and I still get scared to drive my dad's LS2 corvette hard because the car is too much for me....

I am jealous, but also a bit annoyed because chances are, with a TT he will wreck it, ****....I'd wreck it. And that makes it cost more for me to own the car because an inexperienced driver got way too much power, and made my insurance rates go up...

Not true my friend. You have 1) Stupid drivers 2)Decent drivers

this is my 2nd "quick" car. I had a WRX stage 2 for a year and i could tell you its all on the driver. I was 18 wehn i had the rex ..and 19 with the Z.

I def. treat this car dam good, i rarely beat on it..its really on the driver IMO

I agree with 350ZPK, I am 19 years old and bought the 2007 350Z by MYSELF, now yes im paying up the *** on it but its what I wanted to do and I will never regret it, there are people who will abuse the car and do dumb things and there are people who will take care of themselves and make the right decisions, my 2000 Z28 Camaro(first car) was a monster but I knew how to drive like a sane person. just my 2 cents

Negative. Those are the wastegates. The question has already been answered though (the GReddy kits for the Z/G don't come with them).

i bought my 07 when i was 18, i made money on all my cars i have bought before though (ive owned 5 cars now and 3 bikes, z is my 5th, i made a grand on each car...) i payed for all my own stuff and made around a thousand on each vehicle i owned, once i turned 18 i decided im gettin something nice, dropped 10g's for a downpayment on the base 07 ppw, payments are only 389 and change a month, insurance is the kick in the *** though... so not ALL kids are spoiled and drive like ****, its the mindset of the driver, i know 45 year olds that drive worse than 85 percent of teens and i know teens that drive better than 85 percent of our elders... so stop hatin on kids with nice cars and TALK ABOUT THE FUKCIN TT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont wanna make a new thread about this question, first of all I really want this TT setup but it seems easier, cheaper, safer to go with a Supercharger, is that true?

Does anyone have any info on superchargers for the 07 coming out anytime soon?

Try search. That info already exists on this board (in SEVERAL places) and this thread is for the GReddy VQ35HR TT kit.
