What dumba$$ would buy those rims in that size (unless you were showing your ride in an event, hence the GReddy showcar). I'm sure they make smaller sizes. The rims on the showcar have to be 20s or bigger.

Maybe that kit would give the GTR a run for it's money if it came with an AWD system, stroker kit, dual-clutch sequential transmission and back seats.

I dont understand why so many people are thinking adding FI to a Z, even HR engines, would make it "compete" with a GTR. The GTR was purpose built which is why it has all of those performance features from the factory. The costs to fit suspension, transmission, and engine components simliar to a GTR's level would be quite pricey.

FI is cool for the HR, but lets be realistic, it wont be competing with a GTR anytime soon in all performance aspects

I agree with the fact that FI alone will not be sufficient to outperform a GTR on the track. But if you have a properly modded suspension, I'm sure it can outperform the GTR. How much is the GTR going to cost? $60,000-$70,000. Thats twice as much the Z costs. I'm defintely sure we could have a Z outperform the GTR on all performance levels...Money talks...

i doubt it, if the rumors are true, the gtr out performs cars that cost 4 times as much, thats exclusive territory. if u have a z performing in the catagory it will be nearly a race car and barely drivable on the street

but thats just my opinion

the truth. The beauty of buying something like a GTR is that you get all of the performance and the drivability/reliability of a factory vehicle (unless the brand sucks). However, if youre going to extensively mod a Z, or any car for that matter, to perform like a car in a whole different performance category for which it was not initially designed for, your drivability and reliabiltiy are not nearly as comprable to a factory high performance vehicle. Dont get me wrong, the Z by no means is lacking in performance for the price, but it isnt exactly a supercar. But of course, modding is always fun, until your wallet is empty.

thats rather gay, i didn't even notice till u pointed it out, it does look like the intake pipes get in the way, i wonder if the carbon plenum will fit under the stock strut bar (but no turbo kit)

well.........maybe if you bought a hood with more clearance, you could fit in the strut bar. But...FI vs strutbar...i think its a small sacrifice for more power.
