It's just a simple coupling. You can probably pick one up at Home Depot with the right thread or close to it (mine was close).

the reason the 240sx has the dampner is to reduce clutch "chatter" the vibration felt in the pedal when the clutch is doing its thing.

If I had to guess the threads should be 1/8" pipe. Thats a pretty typical brake/clutch line size.

It will come down to if its a NPT thread or the metric version of npt they are very very close but if you mix them up it will leak.

My guess would be the metric....I will try to call one of my buddies that works on Nissans to see if he knows anything about it...As of right now, the feel of the clutch is the only gripe I have with this car...

There will be a market for this if someone would find an easy solution. I really want to do this but I am waiting for more spec.

Is this only on the '07's or is it present on all Z's?

Is your clutch sticking anymore?

I went a burned a gallon of 92 octane for you. Happy to say no. Not even hesitation to come up when slipping the clutch (got a nice whiff from 3.5k-4k launch). Even with my new slave I had some lag from the pedal coming up on launches (but it wasn't getting stuck at least). With the motul + dampener delete I'm happy to say my Z is quite a pleasure to abuse

That's awesome news. Hopefully it won't resurface at all down the road either. Get her back on the track now and see what happens.

Tony (will be sure to buy you a few beers if we ever meet to repay teh gas)

When spring time rolls around... I didn't get much practice in this season (need to work on my launch/60'... was kind of tough with a failed slave heh).

I have a spare dampener here at work and I'm going to see if I can get it measured up on my lunch break tomorrow.

I have a close friend that works for one of the large brake companies and they have a bunch of couplers and adapters in stock. Hopefully the threads match up to something they have sitting on the shelf. I'll definitely let you guys know either way.
