I think this is why Tadashi only do the reflash for the HR if you take the car to him because his program work best with the stock intake. if the owner wants to keep the aftermarket intake he will tune for as much hp as he can get for that intake. He told me that every intake is different and he cannot sell one program that will work for any intake on the market. He also told me of all the intakes he has tuned on the HR none has produce the same hp jump as the stock one.
That would mean you will not have the same 15whp gain if you put back the aftermarket intake after the reflash. It is because the MAF is reading a different parameter and would likely to retard the timing thus you loose power.

Well Im suppose to get my ECU back and flashed by Friday. I'll install then i think either saturday or monday i am going to go get it tuned by tadashi. I'll be sure to post dyno sheets for my AUTO when i get them some time next week.

i can prove you wrong. i was not a believer until i took my Z for the reflash. As I mentioned earlier I only have a Nismo Y pipe and everything else is stock and dyno 296whp after the tune.

as far as i know up to last Tuesday there is no mail in available yet. You should call them to make sure.

yes he will. just make an appointment with him a day or two in advance. he usually comes in at 1pm and takes about 2 hours to tune your car. If you just want the reflash its $550. If you want a dyno tune add $150. I guess it is tax included. Thats how much I paid $700 total.
