correct me if i'm wrong, but i always thought that the nismo came with the nismo exhaust from the factory. if thats the case, then technically, u have an exhaust

on the nismo version only the mufler is nismo. from the header to the mid pipe is the same as any other 07 Z.

How can we contact the tuner to inquire about mail order tunes? Also, will other shops be able to carry the software and do dyno tuning in the future?

I've got a G35 6MT sedan w/ stock intakes, HFC's, exhaust and 4.083 gears that could use a tune to pull it all together.

Technosquare will put out a press release and an announcement will be made here when the reflash is officially available. There will also be an independent dyno done in the near future for those skeptics out there.

People say the rear section is nismo too, but technically it isn't. i was at dealership and the rear section (can area) is not the same as my nismo exhaust either. Only the tips and the can are slightly different versus a non-nismo Z.

Please stay on topic there are plenty of other threads about the 07 nismo edition car and the muffler it has.

Can not wait for the release of the mail in tune.

Ok so i was very tired of my car collecting dirt for three weeks and I couldn't wait any longer. Technosquare called me yesturday and told me it was ready and it woudl be at my house on Monday. Yea........coudn't really wait so i sat in 3 hours of traffic probably averaging a good 10 miles per hour for 2 30 min of the trip and then 55 for the last 30 min. Anyway I picked up my ECU and went back to my house once again ina LOT of traffic and installed my ECU. And the performance=amazing. I really do like the 8000 rpm redline even though i know power drops off earlier becasue if you miss the shift at the old redline you wont' hit the limiter now which i guess is good. Basically I woudl highly recommend this reflash even if you have an auto like me. O and i'll post up dyno sheets when I get it tuned on MOnday or Tuesday night. Still not sure what octane to get it tuned too though?

Does the automatic shift at 8000 now or does it shift at 7500? I know in bmws higher redlines required a transmission reflash too.

in auto mode it shifts at 7500 and in tiptronic it shifts at 8000-8100 which is fine by me cause when I'm in drive I'm driving economically and in tip is when I'm pushing the car to its limits

Nice to know for automatic owners. No separate software needed to utilize that 8000rpms.

Good to hear everything worked out as expected.
Let me know when you're headed to TS have it tuned. If you don't mind I'd like to meet you there.

thomas, the good news is yes the TS reflash will fix this problem. I have confirmation on this from Tadashi. Their reflash will fully open the TB and set the speed limiter to 300mph.

Seeing as you are from Cali, emissions is a big deal for you Will these mods w/ re-flash cause you to fail emissions? I may want to take this route but don't want to deal with failing emissions here in VA.

I'd skip the HFC is you're super paranoid but I think you can still pass with them.
