Why? Don't let a couple of problems ruin your fun experiences with the Z. You should not hold back on your spirited driving. If you stop your spirited driving in fear of a mechanical problem on a new 07 Z, then why don't you sell it and purchase a sedan.

I am not trying to be a d!ck, but if stop having fun with your car because of this...you fail.

I don't know about you, but I sure as hell did not buy this car to baby it...I drive hardcore and regardless what issue occurs, I paid good money for and it WILL run properly.

I babied it for the first 500. Shifting soft n ****. I realized its harder to drive the car like that. You can't guide the shifter into gear. You need to kinda force it into ever gear to get it as smooth as possible. Babying it suxxxxx.

Drive it like it was made. IF the same thing breaks again, it has its own warranty and it will be covered. So dont worry about the "what if" after you pass 36k.
