Recall on slave cylinder
I have now put 800~ miles on my car since I got the slave cylinder replacement in. All these miles are extremly rough. I went over the weekend on a event called RB Stampede, and the car saw lots and lots of 90+ and high revs most of the time during this event. And the car got to see the track event at Harris Hill Road, and was out on the track with no break during the whole morning. No issues at all from the clutch.

My vin is 2867 just outside the recalled vin numbers,I guess it doesn't qualify since they have already denighed me coverage at 4100miles telling me that there was no problem with my slave cylinder that my clutch didn't really stick to the floor. That I had been drifting the car[totally untrue].I feel that I have bought a $40,000 car with absolutely no warranty, this is total BS,I got the updated slave cylinder because I paid for it as part of a clutch job.I would not have gotten the updated part if I had not given the dealer the updated part number.

They can help you get leverage on the dealership, and will probably recommend you find a better dealer for future repairs.
My dealer is great FWIW.

my car is in the stealership right now, about to go pick it up. The funniest thing is that when I took it this morning (6:45 am) they were like "umm, how would like to pay for this, and will you be leaving your car overnight?" i hate dealerships so much!
going to pick it up now though, ill see how it is

ok so i get the car back and i drive across the street to applbees to eat and i notice the clutch is ultra light and the pedal is very low to the floor (actually pretty comfortable). i notice that the 1st gear shutter is completely gone!!!!!!!!!!! so after i eat im on my way home and i hear this lound "THUMP" sound and my clutch is now really high and Firm/heavy so i wonder what the hell that sound was so i call my buddy who did the recall for me and he says it probalby wasnt seated right at first and thats all he could think of. so i drive it home and it does fine, just feels really high and heavy vs before the "THUMP" sound. also the clutch smelled a little when i pulled it in the garage. i also notice a little vibration in the pedal when its about halfway engaged. it feels sorta like how the clutch vibrates when you have the windsheild wipers on.
i go and do a few launches in my driveway and everything feels fine. all the shutter and having to baby it into 1st is gone.
im just curious to what the sound was
and why the pedal seemed to pop up high after it
there is some weird noise comming from the transmision area after they fixed the slave cylinder problem usually in the mornings. It's almost like a whistle
noise i'm not sure what it is, but it seems to fade away 10 minutes after driving the car

Went to dealer on Monday at 7:45 am (waited for car). Car finished at 11:30 am including oil change. Asked service mgr about the repair and pulling the transmission and he said they put the car up on the lift and they could reach up and remove/replace the slave cylinder.
Car runs 100 percent better than before....foresee more speeding tickets in the future....

I did not talk to the tech who did the actual repair, this information was provided by the "front-man" (service mgr, advisor, whatever). The service dept was very busy and he may of not actually talked to the tech about the specifics of the repair.
It is a noticeable difference, definitely not a "placebo effect".
