Agreed. Purchased mine brand new in November and it falls within that range as well.

Hmm, looks like mine falls into it. I called to double check and I got a confirmation my car is part of this voluntary service. I got a file number from them as well. I was instructed to bring my car to any dealer and let them know about the Campaign ID and the dealer would take care of it for free.

So if I already got my slave cylinder replaced last year does this mean this recall doesn't apply to me? I don't have the pedal getting stuck anymore, but I just want to be sure...

Got my car in June and mine *does* fall into this range. Guess it's time to call.

What about 2006 models that also have the clutch pedal sticking to the floor?

I'm in the same boat. I think we can still have the recall work done because all they did was replace a defective part with another one. I have an email into my dealer to verify.

the 06's do have this problem too. My 06 had the same issue. I really believe its the dampener thats causing most of the problems. Thats just my humble opinion.

My service writer was amazed how I knew this before anyone at the dealer did.

I called my dealer this morning, then called Nissan, then my dealer called me back right as I got off the phone with NNA.

They ordered parts before I'd gotten off the phone with NNA so it should be fine to just call.

It requires them to remove the transmission out of the car. So it will take some time. I just hope that the ones that don't have a problem that get this done don't have issues afterwards. Mine hasn't shown a problem YET, but I need to get it done before it does.

Just called the service writer at the local dealer. He's going to check on parts and call me back. This was the first he'd heard of it.

hijack: while they're poking around under the car, should I have them swap out the trans / diff fluids with synthetic? Car has 4000 miles on it. I'd appreciate any thoughts.

hijack off.

:-) I was thinking the same thing. I was also thinking maybe this would be a good time to put in a Nismo clutch or something.
