Uncorrected of course

Just dyno'd it this past saturday at PF Supercars in Maryland.

Peter Farrell Supercars Inc.
4995 Winchester Blvd.
Frederick, MD. 21703

www.pfsupercars.com

Another great shop thats just opening their doors to the 350z community! Check out their shop Z. That monster is making 600-700rwhp

Well as for me heres my dyno charts both uncorrected and SAE corrected with smoothing set to 5:

Mods: Fast Intentions Intimidator Exhaust with resonated test pipes, 4.083 gears, K&N drop in filters.

previous dyno: in STD correction compared to new dyno runfiles in same format

Rkemp1 dyno'd his car at SRT Racing too and came up with similar numbers as you can read in his posts. At the new dyno our numbers and graphs looked pretty similar. I had 4rwhp/4tq over his corrected numbers. Only difference between our mods is the drop in filters I have and fujitas on his side. If I recall I believe the gears really dont do anything with dyno numbers.
Also you can check out his A/F compared to mine. My previous A/F looked just like his right now. Exhaust wise I have FI and he has AAM dual exhaust with test pipes. Honestly the difference might be the exhausts too but i guess well never know until we get more 07's to dyno

Yeah I was curious as to the difference between K&N/stock. Looks like it may still be hard to tell at the moment, but at least there is a possibility. I'm running exhaust only (HKS), haven't had it dynoed I really don't see the point yet (if ever). I suspect my gains would be very similar to yours without the TP's/filters.

Good numbers!

I know the gains will be very minute but the K&N filters are a definate improvement over the stock air filters. I chose to put the stock airboxes back on due to the fact that aftermarket intakes just totally screw up your a/f ratios. Until we get a tune for our cars, I dont see any benefit of an intake besides the sound

I agree, tho only thing keeping me from ripping off my fujitas is that its our busy season at work and its too damn cold!

gears do make a difference, try dynoing ur car in 3rd 4th and 5th and see what u come up with, at least thats what shariff said, loosely quoted: "it will show more power in higher gears" (more power in 5th than 4th)

not to much difference though

The corrected runs seem more realistic. (lol hence correction) but great numbers nonetheless. What conditions did you dyno in? Must be some damn cold air?

Wow. Impressive numbers!

I love PF supercars. I went there a couple years ago in my friends RX-7. How much did they charge for the dyno? I want to get a baseline reading on the 08 =O

that's odd... usually the 1st dyno run gives the highest HP unless your engine bay started out heat soaked

my HR has done the same thing at each dyno as well, lowest numbers come from my first pull, highest numbers come from last pull. My car had been sitting for about 4-5 hours before dynoing. IDK?

LoL, HR motors do that ****. I drove my car to get it dynoed, dynoed it when it was warm on purpose, and my car dynoed highest on its 3rd consecutive pull. Same as well as my brothers HR too. Highest pull was the third and last pull.

HR performs better at operating temps. First dyno lowest, second usually slightly better, then third the best, fourth you usually loose power...

by the way...

I really like the air/fuel curve... because (a) it's consistent and (b) I see lots of room for improvement

I had mine dynoed on Saturday as well.. it was at a shop outside atlanta..
My numbers weren't quite as high but close.. I did not have them do an A/F reading since my car is bone stock at the moment.. and didn't think that it would make a difference..
276.36 rwhp, 257.08 rwtq

Where do you see lots of room for improvement? The only thing I see is a miniscule dip at the end. If you lean it out a tad it might bring the power back up in the upper end to flatten it out a little more. I dont consider that alot of room for improvement at all though.
Consistant it is though
