I consider this a higher revving motor for a V6, but nothing outrageous.
Anyway, does not matter much. Oils will always be a preference thing. I can tell you I will never put Synth in my cars. I have seen too many oil burning issues in many other makes from swapping to synth either at all or too soon.
Since we're talking about the HR's 7500rpm STOCK redline.. can you tell me where you found out supras rev up to 7500rpms? BTW they aren't even V6..

^ stock redline is at 6800, but people that upgrade to single's (small single's) rev it to 7500 with out any internal mods, and its still reliable, some even rev to 8k on all stock internals

the only reason its 6800 stock is cause the stock turbo's run out of steam by then and aren't' making any more power

*i know this is kinda off topic, just stating what i've seen

Well if a Supra revving to 7500-8000rpm is high, then the HR revving to 7500rpm is still high. Still a testament to the HR, since an inline 6 is an innately balanced configuration compared to a V6.

Stock redline on a JZA70 is 7400 RPM's.
I didnt say they were a V6 either. I just stated 6cyl.
Any even stock JZA80's can rev much higher even in stock form with the stock cut removed.

Different topic for a different day though.

7500 rpm stock is in every way a high revving motor, no one cares what a motor can run to, maybe HR's will prove to run to 8200? I don't care. Stock at 7500 rpm is very high. Show me all the stock 6 cylinder cars on planet earth that rev higher, I dare you to find more than...like one.

Anyways, no synth at 1200 miles, seems nuts on a car built with dino and meant to run it the life of the car. I might change over around 10K, but even then a motor isn't "fully" broken in.

For $28 bucks at my local Nissan dealer, I'll just do Castrol GTX every 3500 miles for the life of the car. It'll be great. I don't stress over oil like so many of you do, I prefer to worry about things in my life that matter. Mobil, Castrol, whatever, they're all good.

I have always run full synthetic in the past 4 cars I have owned..(2000 SI, 2002 wrx, 2003 S2000 And now my Z...The S2000 is known to consume oil, but I never had any issues....I have never had any issues with burning oil what's so ever... I currently use M1 0-40 and haven't had any issues with it and the engine runs quite and smooth...All major oils wil do just fine, but I would never put Royal Purple in any of my cars..From what I have seen with test, the Royal Purple wears down fast
