Default Had oil change today on my NISMO 08 Z

After leaving the dealer, I checked my oil and I found it to be clear in color

They I talked with tech, he stated that oil goes in clear comes out brown.

They put in 5 thing's of Castrol GTX. I have always used M1 and that is what I'm to switch over to after 1500 miles. 0-w40.

I just want to make sure that Castrol GTX has no color to it.

I use to see M1 in which is brown.

slight caramel color to it, but looks clear on the dipstick when it is new.

I use Castrol Syntec 5w-30 for my Z. It is a light brownish color.

I use Castrol GTX 10-40 for my dad's Tundra and Sequoia. It is clearish with a light hint of brown color. It is definitely brown when it comes out of the engine. And yes it is clear on the oil stick when it is new.

Oil is always light brown / caramel color when its new. Its very dark brown and sometimes even black when you are taking it out.

According to the oil threads Castrol GTX is very good oil. Nice taste in Z's by the way.
