This is just my personal review of the Fujita black dual intakes. I just installed them today.
Fitment:
The instructions provided with the intakes where very helpful and step by step. Two major PITA parts of the install involved taking out the driver side air duct, which ended up with me going crazy on it until it finally came out. And the second worst part of the install was installing the two small rubber hoses for the vacume lines. The nipples on the intakes did not line up very well to start with. The passenger side vacume inlet can be pulled towards the front of the car enough to line up straight with the nipple on the intake. As for the drivers side well, Ill let the picture tell you that story. Other than that, install was a breeze.

Finish:
I never found anyone on the forum with the black fujita intakes. Im sure they are out there, maybe I didnt look hard enough. The finish is a wrinkle black finish with a rough texture. I give the look two thumbs up. There were no imperfections in the finish at all.
Sound:
Not really noticable until about 3.5k rpms. Around 4 and 5k to redline just roars! Very mean sounding, even with stock exhaust.
Gains:
I have not dyno'd the car, and I have no baseline. But the butt dyno tells me there is a little more power there when getting into the higher rpm range.
Overall:
I would do it again. For the price you really dont sacrifice much. Plus the added look in the engine bay and sound is a def plus.

Ill try and get some sound clips later, I dont have any tapes to record on.
Its strange how these make you lose power when you can feel a little extra power. Ill have to get a dyno done someday.

I would be curious if these intakes make more power while moving. As soon as I left the neighborhood after the install it def felt like there was more power there. Whatever the case, they sound good, look good, and Im happy with them. When another company proves some real good gains, then I may just have to switch up.

Well when I get the money for a reflash and exhaust Ill have to add another review with and without intakes. All I really want is 300hp to the wheels and Ill stop with power mods. I want something I can drive to work everday. And from the looks of it, people are getting very close.
The fujita intakes do in fact create more peak horsepower. The problem here is that it only creates more HP at one specific engine speed. The rest of the powerband is not as nice as staying stock. If you want a 300+ HP car then upgrade your exhaust and cats, get some K&N drop
ins and have technosquare flash your ECU. The only way you'll see any meaning HP gains through intakes is with forced induction.

^ So even with a flash, keeping these intakes wouldnt prove any additional hp? It was my understanding that you tell them the mods you have, and they flash it accordingly.

To sum up the reason behind this it really breaks down to the fact that because of the dual intakes less air flow per intake is required by the engine compared to a single intake setup. The current design of the OEM intakes provides more then max flow required or close enough that a better flowing filter (K&N) is all that is needed.
