Dyno Results IN!!!
"Hey guys ~ at the request of 350Zimo, here's the best 3 runs of the day; looks like it's not very far from that other guy's #s...

We ran this all the way up to 8000RPM and these were the best #s of the day. There's an upside to this but I'll have 350Zimo come back in another day to make more comparisons...

#s posted are STD corrected too FYI and they're very consistent!

Regards!

Bob"

The dyno chart stops at 6500rpm simply because this is where i hit max whp/wtq. We did a couple of runs doing all the way to 8000rpm, but the power declines, however, not as much as stock does after that point.
I will ask Bob(the dyno guy) to send me the 8000rpm charts just for reference.

Very nice numbers. I'd still like see how much the power drops off after 6500 though.

Not necessarily anything wrong the JWT intakes. Some people, including me, would rather keep the stock intakes since they are well designed and offer reliability and quality.

I remember reading a thread where somebody installed the JWT intakes and after he started his car all his dashboard lights started flashing and his car went into limp mode. It had something to do with the MAF sensor.

The short-rams avaidable for the Z tend to suck hot air into the engine. I rather wait for a true CAI to come out for the HR like the Injen thats on the works but who knows, so far the only thing we have seen is failure. So id rather keep my stock intakes with K&N drop ins rather then shell out $400 for a short ram intake that sucks in hot air from the engine bay.

yeah, they gave him to left tubes, so it messed up the position of the MAF sensor.

So you've gotten to throw her up on a dyno, but how does she feel on the street after the re-flash? How much of a difference do you notice now as opposed to before the re-flash?

the car has definitely improved. I installed test pipes and my ecu back on at the same time, and i did feel a difference. it pulls a lot harder to 8k than before to 7500rpm.
