Default Change the gear oil

I had the clutch recall done and it still sounded clunky in 1st and (to a lesser degree) 2nd gears. Last week I had the 30k maintenance done and they put 85W synthetic oil in the gear box. The clunking noise is nearly gone! Shifting is stiff going through the gears when the car is cold, but once warmed, feels solid, shifts smoothly.

Default Change gear oil

The dealership (Dirito Bros., Concord CA) put it in at the 30k service.

i was just wondering about that, when i start from a cold start, reverse out then go into first gear and start driving, then reach 2K-2.5K, press in the clutch, I hear a clunk (a louder clunk than the usual clunk when shifting gears in gear 1 or 2) and seems rougher than usual. But this only happens in cold starts after leaving the car parked overnight on the first time i clutch in with first gear, and it drives fine the rest of the day.

So this is normal?

The dealership told me it is normail and so does other Z driver. It makes sense too. When You start to drive in 1st gear and let it cost around 10mph or so, all the peasure is on the 1st gear and is riding on it. When you depress the clutch all that preasure is release from the gear and it will make the noise. Don't sweat it bro...
