exhaust ground?
So I recently bought an HKS hi-power exhaust. I got under my car last night just to look around and noticed that there appears to be a ground wire coming from the last flange before the muffler and bolting up to the frame. What is the purpose of this? I have never seen that before. Also, is this something I need to worry about reconnecting after I install the HKS?

I mean the tab is there, and the wire is there too. Mind as well bolt it up.

lol at teh jokerz^^^. but in all seriousness, the most it will do is get you a quicker ground to the rear O2 sensors. AKA, instead of thinking its 1500 rpm when its really 1510 rpm, it will think its 1507 rpm when its 1510. YES!!!!
edit: just so you dont get me wrong, i have it connected, its easy to bolt up so why the hell not?

OP,
Not sure if you resolved this or not, but there is a bracket on the driver's side HKS canister. Behind the tube facing the front of the car. I reconnected the OEM ground wire there.

I am not installing the exhaust just yet, I am taking the car to the track to get my stock baseline time, then will maybe put the exhaust on tomorrow! My question has been answered though! Thanks again everyone
