If you bought your car (08 Enthusiast) with LSD what kind came on it ? Nismo I assume ?

 

 

a std viscous type. NISMO differential is not included on any car in the US

 

i ordered a quaife yesterday...found an excellent deal....should be installing it in the begining of october when i get home from this **** hole we call iraq, so no reviews from me for a while...

be sure to check out that quaife....i did alot of reading on it before i gave up 1300 bucks for it. it looks to be a solid unit.

 

i have the nismo
it worked out good a bit clunky and it helped get most of my power to the road so im happy.

 

anyone have thoughts on the New nissan Gt pro LSD out? supposedly still a full kit for us with Open Difs, and between 900-1000, isn't that bad. and am told is like the cusco being clutch, and adjustable. thoughts on the performance of this peice?

 

you're not going to find much if any info on the Pro TT from actual users since its not a part offered by Nissan USA - it's special order from Japan. Price is also closer to $1500 by the time it actually arrives here, which is exactly in line with the Cusco (Cusco being obviously more available).

 

What's the install like on an LSD- I've been searching with no luck . Any DIYs on here?

 

From testing, the Cusco is the queitest.

i want to upgrade my track model with the cusco RS LSD 1,5way with 60% and don't know if there are any problems with the VDC?!

and btw are there any other things, i have to observe?!

Thomas - VDC works with the aftermarket LSD's as well

i just twin turbo'd my 07Z and i have the Quaife on my car and i personally think it works great or as well as it can at 500+wheel on 295's tires. i like it alot though. even before the turbo's got on i could tell a night and day difference. i had a base 350z though.

i suppose another nice feature is that its a direct bolt on to no modding. good luck on your purchase
