Just Installed berk test pipes
Well i finally got around to installing my test pipes. They have been sitting in my garage since march. I broke one of the bolts on the top passanger side, luckly it broke in the cat so i was able to remove it. Everything else seemed to come out pretty good.
First impressions were great i am running these with the HKS true duel exhaust. I had the same setup on my 04 but with the helix test pipes. I am pretty sure it is louder that my 04, or i could just be used to the sound of my 07 with the just the HKS. Well it started up no problems got down my street and opened her up. Damn i missed the sound of my old car. i have a little rasp but i was expecting that, and i think i hear something like the pipes are hitting something. that i was not expecting. The pulls much harder from 3500 rpms and on.
The bad news is i only drove 5 miles before i got SES light. i guess i am gonna have to try the brillo or steel wool method next week and see if that works. Hopefully i will get to dyno it in the near future so see what kind of gains i have gotten.
Are there any other methods of getting rid of the SES light besides the brillo or steel wool.

bah it has then non fouler built in, but the brillo will just push right thru. so yes use another set. drill one all the way thru and leave the little hole in the other one just like the 03-06. stuff it with padding then. but just a little bit. break it up, i couldn't find it without the blue soap on it so i broke it up to get the soap off then packed it in tight. as i said in other post, have it where you have to blow just a little hard to get air thru.
