Interesting. Did this happen on your quarter mile run also?

hmmm are you running stock still? when i sold my single exhaust and stuck my stock back on. i noticed when i would give it gas at low rpms without shifting mine would shutter and bog. i have berk test pipes also. but now that im back to aftermarket exhaust the problem is gone.

yeh there is alot of rasp on the exhaust.. im running an aftermarket exhaust on the stock y pipe... i know its stupid but i swapped with somebody and im just waiting on my new exhaust to come... so it has to do with the stock y pipe bottling up the test pipes? this is also weird because when i was running a full turbo xs exhaust on the car it was still doing this.. im pretty stumped

Do you have a cel? Also try reseting the ecu and see if the problem persist. Also if you do have the cel from the test pipes. Get some oil non foulers and put some brillo pad in each of them. Stuff it in there and blow thru it each time you stuff it where you can barely blow thru it.

i just read infinites thread about exhaust port matching and it seems like he was most likely having the same problem as me... im gonna call up berk and get the correct gaskets on mine as well.. mine did not come with any so im pretty sure the shop used the stock ones on both sides of the test pipe

ok so i kinda narrowed it down.. ive pretty much think i dont have a problem with my 02 sensors.. today i installed a earlier model y pipe(03-06) and it accually helped this problem go away considerably, not to mention get rid of 3/4 of the test pipe rasp haha..

i have another question.. do you guys think thats the piping size on the stillen true dual would be a good match to the berk test pipes??

Stillen is 2.5 so it should be good. It is the same spark plug oil non foulers. You need 2 sets. Do a search and you will find out what you need to make some.

ok sounds cool! what other exhausts do you guys recommend besides the stillen? im trying to find a true dual that will be a nice match for the berk test pipe to get rid of the rasp on deceleration around 2200 rpms

Fast Intentions sounds wicked with test pipes.

But if I had to do it all over again, I would have still purchased Nismo.
