Default Got my car dynoed; full bolt ons.

My car was dynoed on a dynocom at AJperformance.

Did 3 runs: 2 3rd gear pulls and 1 4th gear pull
1st run: 4th gear: 325.1 whp / 293.2 torque
2nd run: 3rd gear: 314.7 whp / 289.5 torque
3rd run: 3rd gear: 319.7 whp / 290.4 torque

Note* These pulls were before my car was tuned.
I will post new dyno sheets once i can afford to re-dyno my car and see how much more it's putting down.

The 3 runs were all within 30 minutes; temperature / humidity is similar.

I don't have a scanner so i had to take pictures of the dyno sheets from my phone ;x
I have a video clip as well. Sorry for the crappy quality, its a sidekick D:

<object width="425" height="350"> <param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/yATl8QBTi9Q"> </param> <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/yATl8QBTi9Q" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"> </embed> </object>

Your dyno seems to be way inflated for your N/A mods, but if you're using the #'s for tuning then that's fine. Not familiar with that type of dyno though, im guessing it reads just like a dynapack. 300-305whp on dynapack will be more realistic.

That's what I was thinking as well, but I did my research and a Dynocom reads in between a mustang dyno and a dynojet, but it seems to me like that dyno is way off. I wish I could dyno my car on the same dyno as Arsh and Infinite so I could compare my numbers with them :x

I wish i knew, it's my friend's old front lip, he gave me it since he got a new one. It doesn't fit though since he has an 03 Z, i had to stretch it and superglue it to make it fit, but I think it looks sick nonetheless ;D

Awsome numbers bro! They do seem a little inflated though, especially the torque. Do you have any type of ecu programming with these numbers or is it on a stock ECU? I know you have the emange but are theri any benefits WHP wise like the cobb AP or technosquare reflash since it's not made to work specifically for the 07+ Z?

All of these pulls are on my stock ECU with no modified programming whatsoever, but the numbers are in fact unbelievable. I only dynoed the car on that day to see the difference in power from stock ecu programming to being tuned with a e-manage ultimate, and i was shocked to see the numbers, I didn't believe it at first. I will be going back to the same dyno to see the gains from the tune. I'm also gonna get it dynoed on a dynojet in my area for you guys and also to see the difference between the two dyno's. I don't think it's possible to push 325whp with bolt-ons and stock ECU programming. Time will tell I suppose, just need to save up some money

Yea.....if it is on stock ECU programming than know that it is for sure very inflated. Get your tune, see hwo much whp you get from it, then redyno on a dynojet Really curious to see what a full bolt on 6mt HR will do. Hopefully you will englighten us

are you sure THIS isnt your read out?jk.

your car looks nice!
i think that is a happy dyno (Read:bigger numbers to make customers happy)

with a tune you should be putting that down, with less torque.

and could you also try somthing for me please?
try getting some wire from a grounding kit and see if it has any effect on your electrical systems, or power or response. like windows going up faster, better audio, car feels a teeny bit quicker.

Hahaha. Well I'm gonna be re-dynoing on the same dyno just so I can compare numbers before and after the tune. Then I'll be going to a dynojet to see more accurate numbers, I'll be sure to post them as soon as I have the money to get dynoed. As for the grounding wires; I highly doubt it'd make your car any faster. As for the electrical systems: technically of course you'd get better response, but I just think it's a waste of money period. lol

well with mods in my sig I put down 274whp I believe with no tune and then 282 with a tune. either the west coast dynoes are off from the east coast (maybe its the weather) but I don't see how anyone is putting down over 300whp with just bolt-ons. call me crazy just my .02

So I got the money to re-dyno my car, here are the results. (Remember I know these numbers are inflated, I'm only posting them to show the difference before and after tune.)

the numbers do seem a bit high but some people have to remember that your car does have different settings in the stock ECU and it switches to each setting depending how you drive your car...if you baby the hell out of it rather than drive it like you stole it, your numbers will definitely be A LOT lower than driving the car hard all the time (and i'm not making any of this up since i do know a couple of people that work for nissan, one who's worked in the factory for many years, both telling me the same thing)...now i'm not saying your numbers are where it should be, i'm just saying that not just this but other specs comes into play whether you got a freak engine from the factory or not...EITHER WAY enjoy the hell outta her and keep us updated on her progress
