07 HR @ 11.2k miles.
Only problem was the slave cylinder recall.
I know it isnt a high mileage HR or anything but yea just wanted to chime in. I had my slave recalled at around 5-6k miles I believe?

07 z with 19k miles. No major issues at all.
The - - - Z - - - Panel on the rear strut tower brace vibrates on rough pavement. I need to take it apart and put some sticky foam or something on it.
I had some creaking when turning the wheel in a parking lot. Turned out to be the front cross-member underneath needed to be torqued down.
Overall, I am very impressed. The list of issues on my previous 06 was pretty long.
One think I hate about the current gen Z's is the brake-pad knock-back that you get if you take some corners at high g-force. When you get back on the brakes after a hard corner, the engagement point is much lower until you pump it once. That's just sad. My 06 GT did it and my 07 GT does it too.

08, 11,000 miles.
No broken things... just nice chips on the bumper from rocks etc.
I do notice the drivers door handle has some chips in the rubber paint.. sort of like a dude on here... but not nearly as bad.
HOWEVER: I haven't seen a thread about this... but dunno what the hell is up:
Sometimes When I am in ANY gear or even Neutral... and I slow for a stop with a moderate turn of the wheel... like parking in my garage, I press the breaks and the car seems to stutter.. almost like the ABS is activated... only happens when I am going <10MPH. Does not happen all the time. Makes a farting noise or something...
I am still as in love with this car as I was when I wanted it 5 years ago. :-)

1. Slave cylinder recall at 16K
2. Rear axle click (or some kinda clicking sound) when turning left at slow speed. Going to take it to dealer to fix this soon.
3. Window makes a tapping noise when they're down and going through bumps. Anyone else got this?

My car has been acting up recently, it has very abnormal idling. I'm not talking about a cold start either, when the engine is warm and im in neutral, the idle will bounce up and down from 900rpm - 1200rpms, then it'll stop for a while and settle at about 1000rpm, then it'll go crazy again and start bouncing up and down, can't figure out what it is. I tried reinstalling my intakes, that didn't work

I know because my brother also had AEM intakes on his RX8 and his car would stutter violently at stoplights when idle. It became so annoying that he literally took them out and threw them in the garbage. He put the OEM intakes back in and the stuttering stopped..
Sure they may sound cool, but I will never put aftermarket intakes on my car..

07 with 18k. New window regulator, tranny, clutch, flywheel, and slave cylinder. Clutch/flywheel were my fault, rest were car issues. Tranny chunked a synchro shortly after I got the car and it felt bad new.
