Who has a lot of miles on their 07? Any problems? (I'm guessing 08's don't have many yet) I have 22k on mine, got mine last June.. Car has been pretty reliable for me. List problems with your HRs..

Only problem I had was slave cylinder recall, and bouncing tach (hasn't been replaced yet) other than that.. so far so good. Although after adding HFCs I get a slight stutter if you want to call it that between 2-3krpms. Not noticeable unless I floor it in a high gear.

So who has the highest mileage? List problems please. Please don't come in here with your new hR and claim, 2k miles, no problem so far.

I have a starter problem but it still hasn't been fixed because the dealership has to replicate the problem. It does it once a blue moon. Well anyway I have a year and a half left of My warranty

had to do the slave cylinder recall around 7,000 and again around 18,000

my dealership is full of gorilla mechanics

29k miles on my 08
1- annoying sound in first gear.
2-driver window sometimes stuck.

 

27,000 miles............5th gear grind when the tranny is cold

 

25k 07

1) Random vibrating creeking sound occuring once a in a while on the driver side dashboard. I hit the dashboard a few times with my hand and it goes away.
2) bumper paint pepper dotted from freeway debris (rocks, sand, grit, etc)

 

1) I have the problem...except on BOTH sides.
2) Slave Cylinder Recall
3) Everytime I turn my car, it creaks.

13,700 miles.

 

I got my 07 last june too, and my name is James.... hah. Got it with 22 miles, I'm up to 23k miles now. Only thing I can complain about is the paint, I never drive on freeways but I have plenty of crap on the front bumper. Gas gauge isnt accurate at all either, spose to have 20 gallon tank and it will only take 14 when gas light goes on. Always done it, and fuel door sticks out a little.

 

08 with 12k miles!driver window motor replaced at 9k!

 

Front cross member bolts worked loose along with front sway bar. Must not have been torqued correctly at factory. Only have 5K on my 07.

 

I broke 12k in my 08.. I agree on the cats. I got test pipes tho. And when you punch it I get a horrible stutter. But I'm getting when I get my catbck thats the same size piping it'll go away. I think thats just back pressure your feel. Otherwise I'd like to think I got no problems so far with it.

 

7,500 miles. Had the window motor problem on driver side acting up.. Slammed the door close hard never came back

No noise no creaks etc when i was on stock wheels for 6k miles. After getting these nismo wheels every thing now vibrates and creaks running these wide *** tires.. Oh well but it looks nice though

 

i got mine sept. of 07 and yes 07 z. Just got to 11k. Good so far, except for the clutch sticking to the floor because the clutch line wasn't capped . Mods of so car is : fast intentions resonated test pipes + Tananbe Exhaust. so far im happy with the car

 

You can't be serious about the gas tank? The tank does hold 20; the light comes on around 15gallons. And the fuel door is easy to fix; take off the screws align it how you want it, retighten. Paint on my bumper had many chips as well, but thats from excessive 100 mile commutes.. switched it out to V2.

 

I have the same thing happening on my car. Don't know if it's due to the HFC/exhaust, but I noticed that the slip light turns on on the dash when it stutters.... I turn off the traction control and it doesn't stutter... Try it.

Faulty TPSM--- Replaced --------------24K

Im getting the fuel light on and tank only takes 14gal to fillup as well--Ill take it in next week----started at 25k

Hatch shocks seem really weak-- after popping open I used to lift maybe 2-3 inches and then it opended by itself all the way ---- I have to lift it about 3/4 of the way otherwise it wont go beyond 1/2 open.----started at 20k---progressivley worse

 

11k on my 08... Driver window motor went out. noisy throwout bearing. 5th gear grinds when cold.

 

4800 Miles on my 08, only probem is that annoying vibrating sound from the dashboard as well

 

22K miles on my nismo... flywheel chatter, general suspension chatter (hypermax 3 sport.. quite normal with this kind of coilovers)

 

07 and 08 Z we're all still having these ******** problems with our cars..
Imagine the 370 people ,cant wait to see that list .I laugh at anybody who buys a first production car.. I did once back in 01 and learned my lesson
