Shift knob???

Default Shift ****???

I have a 2008 Z and was trying to remove the stock shift ****. I could not do it. Need help!!!

i've read somewere that you just need to twist really hard.

Its a pain. I had to use vice grips and a BIG wrench with a towel wrapped around the top to protect it from scathing. Remember to hold the bottom of the shifter still while you twist the **** off.

i dont rememberv how i did it but i think i twisted very hard im not so shure me n a buddy did it ,try twistin put a good grip on it it should come off ....

yeah loctite on them keeps them on and impossible to get off

WOW you say shift know and technically the auto's have a **** so are you manual or auto. My manual twisted off.
