So there were numerous people here that said that the 03-06 clutch kit would work on an 07, this is totally untrue and wasted 3/4 a day yesterday with Mckinney motorsports to figure this out.
The Disc itself works fine. The problem comes with the pressure plate. 07+ use a hydraulic release bearing which is significantly smaller then the typical fork style release bearings found on an 03-06.
So the problem is, the cross section on the fingers is .5" SHORTER on the 03-06 pressure plate. When you put the pressure plate up to the 07 release bearing, it results in a 1/100th of an inch of the actual release bearing that is touching the fingers. There is no doubt that you would eventually lock the clutch up with the bearing pushing through the fingers of the pressure plate.
So unless someone has some other solution using a larger hydro bearing, it simply doesnt work correctly.

Witch clutch did you tray?

I'm curious if there is either A) really no issue, B) no-one has had the issue present itself yet, or C) the pressure plate he used is different from the pressure plates we all have been using (different brand = different size possibly?).

will it work in theory? Yes. Is it a ticking time bomb? Yes. It is so sketchy looking. It's a few clutch kicks away from pushing that bearing thru the fingers. Even jim wolf himself said it won't work and that's why they came out with an 07 specific pressure plate. I couldnt even use the clutch disc on the own plate. 07s have a smaller oem disc

I've got the JWT flywheel with the "DE" clutch kit that they said would work fine.
I haven't had any issues and haven't taken it easy on the car, so while I'm not trying to discount what you are saying as the pictures tell the story, I'm not the only one who has (knock on wood) seen no issues from it thus far.
