hr test pipe non fouler fix
i have a question regarding high flow cats, a friend of mine said to get tp's instead of hfc's due to the nismo exhaust i have on my z tends to over time blow the substrate material in the hfc into the midpipe. is there any truth to this? i dont want the rasp that comes with tp's but i dont know enough about the the updated versions of hfc's for the vq35hr motor.
nismo exhaust with Test Pipes.
wayyy to raspy!

but on the new motor and new designs of the hfc's does the material get blown out of the hfc's after time like they did in the hfc's for the vq35de designs
this is the reason im hesitating on the tp's and hfc's

will the 02 sensor adapters from ebay work? or is stuffing the 02 with steel wool the best chance at not throwing a code?

i have a 06 and put aps 2.5 tps on through the ses light about 40 or 50 miles out. put on the non foulers tonight and i will let you know how they work (also stopped at advanced to clear the codes b4 i went and it didn't throw the light on the way to the shop)
Ive uploaded the pics to show the process. I did it today. The 30 box of brillo was like 3.95 and one pic shows me shaking the soap out as much as possible. I think the pics are pretty self explanitory and show what Kram has already explained.
