This sounds interesting... so with a stock car UpRev doesnt want to higher the redline yet? Would it change if there were simple bolt ons - intake/HFC/exhaust?

BTW sweet ride SOLO. The Nismo came out after i bought my Z its a beaut!

Not because it's stock, because they are unfamilar with the engine to be comfortable about pushing it up. Plus I track my car and my car sits a lot at those high rpms, I rather not have it higher to protect the engine.

I just got the UPREV Tune today in Tampa Jared did it for me. at S&R performance Jared from Uprev great guy couldn't ask for anything more. The Guys at S&R were extremely great and will be dealing with them again. I made 283.9 With just a nismo catback my torque 236.1 car pulls amazing I will post up more later just got home and I am exhausted. We don't know what my gains were from bone stock to Nismo catback.... The baseline pull was 281.3. I have 3 different Launch Control Settings, My high octane setting and a valet mode. I can't say thank you enough. I am not knock techno square or todashi but I find the down time and not being able to switch maps a waste of money. If you have the money and the time I would Buy the uprev and take it to a protuner, that way they can get as much power as possible for you buck. Technosquare is I think 600??? For 150 more you can change maps and have it tuned on the dyno. Atleast at S&R in Tampa.

You would have to talk them about that. I was asking about which I think they can but the ecu's don't have enough plugs for options such as solenoid shut offs and being able to turn it on during a map switch but you could probably have a window switch wired up then have the tune for the spray. You would have to call and ask Bobby or his tuner. I pm'd them to jump in on the topic. They are really great and helpful guys. They had their Tech meet today and it was worth driving down from Orlando thats for sure. If my post doesn't make sense its because im exhausted and don't care. I went to the Jacksonville meet yesterday and then the S&R meet today.

Would this be benificial even if I can't get that car tuned?.... Would I be able to give them my mods and based on that they could give me a couple of maps with the whole UpRev program or unit?..

Yes I believe so. Its a program and Osiris is the Unit its a computer data cable but there is a Computer built into the cable itself.

Well, I've waited all this time for UpRev to come out with Osiris for the HR, and frankly I have to say I am a bit disappointed. Most people I have seen that get it AND get a tune do not get nearly the gains that I am hearing from Technosquare. Yes, you get multiple maps, and you can get updates, but the bottom line for me is HP gains. Before I pull the Technosquare trigger, does anyone have anything that would sell me on UpRev?

If you look at PEAK power then yes. But if you look at the overall powerband and compare them then no.

I would get whichever allows for a dyno tune...dyno tune > off the shelf with any decent tuner.

Point made, but I think the HR has a great power band to begin with so I'm not sure how spreading the gains over the entire run is so much better?

Edit: I didn't want to jack this thread, but I also didn't want to start an entirely new thread since we are here already.

looking at his dyno, i see from 4500rpm to 6000rpm gains from about 10 to 15whp. i see the same from 6700 to 7600rpm which is key because there isnt as a significant drop off from peak to 7600rpm with the uprev as there is in the stock dyno. 10 to 15 whp gain throughout the power curve is pretty impressive from just a tune. you wont see that with any sort of bolt on mod.

+1

Especially on a stock car at the time.

Dyno results sorry guys the picture is crappy and I don't have a scanner at my hands right now. Baselines 281 we don't know what it was before I put my cat-back on so I could of gotten a total of 6-10 hp with cat back and tune. It peaked at 283 whp..
