Default Quick Intake Question

Yes I red all the pages in this section b4 I posted. My brain hurts like hell but, from what I understand none of the intakes help really. SO basically you end up spending $300+ on an intake that does nothing but sound cool or maybe also raise your hp +5/10whp around 6k rpms. I'm trying to justify buying an intake for $400. I'm thinking I can get an aluminum one custom made for less

lol, yea that too. Also I have to decide what's best. I can get some used pop chargers for $200 but IDK if it's worth it. Thinking about cutting the fujita's I have and turning them just into tubes so it looks better. Intakes I have I got used for the tubes but after researching I'm thinking of selling them and just keeping stock.

the injen CAI's are the only intakes so far that have proven gains, around 10 at the top end.

i was reading in the vq35hr section a couple of days ago and A.H. had a kinda sorta mini review of the injen intakes. i believe he said the tech at his shop said the injen cai's was the only intake that didn't lose power in the lower rpm's and gained a couple of hp over stock intakes in the higher rpm's. he said it was the only one he would recommend, but don't quote me

hope it helps, if i come across it again ill post a link

I bought pop chargers cuz I love the sound but I'm thinking about selling them cuz I'd like the cash, maybe I'll keep them.
