Clutch&Flywheel or 3.9 gears?? Help
Ok.. going back on topic...
at 3.9 gears and clutch/flywheel combo... I'd say... both.
go for the gear if you want to put in also a good LSD...
the clutch is going to wear down eventually, so the dual mass flywheel...
right now looks like there is only the JWT, but if the "combo" is the same of a 370z.. I'm pretty sure that fidanza/act/tilton/exedy/carbonetics will start coming later this year.
honestly I like the design of an act performance flywheel, with the material removed where it matters. tilton competition looks a little too brutal for any street use.

4.08 gears are better for the HR, in my opinion. You're still getting to 60 in 2nd gear (barely), and the acceleration is better than 3.9's. Plus they are cheaper, since they come from the frontier pickup, versus nismo or something for the 3.9's. I guess you would lose a little mileage if you cruise on the highway a lot, but if you mostly drive in the city, then it makes no difference, as you can just cruise around in top gear more.
