Default HR Belt Replacement?

Has anyone replaced their powersteering/alternator belt yet? I noticed the sound of a noisy belt over the weekend coming from under the hood. Came to find that the belt was pretty frayed. I didn't expect this at 32xxx miles but did notice that replacing the belt was part of the 30,000 mile maintenance interval.

Any how, I called my local Nissan Parts Dept this morning and they said the HR only requires 1 belt, as opposed to the 2 that the DE's require. So I was curious to see if any of you have done this replacement yet? Is the install pretty much the same?

By the way, mine has 43k on it. I'll try to make a DIY for the HR if I can find a belt for it tomorrow.

Damn I thought I was getting up there when I hit 27,XXX I have had the car a year got it with 6500 and put 20,000 on it so far.. I might have to check the belt to. Is that something that would be covered under warranty?

I did not have any luck finding a belt at Pepboys, Autozone or Kragen tonight. Checking out Napa and Carquest tomorrow. Autozone showed two different belts for a 07 Enthusiast and Nismo. One was probably a foot longer than the other one!

Mine snapped at around 12k miles! Don't know why it snapped so soon, but I got a replacement belt at the dealership (they had to order it). I installed it from the top and it was pretty easy since the HR has an auto tensioner.

Found a belt at Carquest. Part #K070810, price was $38.31. Gotta go to work now, so I'll be installing it tomorrow.
