Default Why does my car make so litle power???

I'm hoping someone could shed some light as to why my motor seems so weak.

The red line is someone else's car which is a 2007 350Z Grand Touring 6MT and the blue line is my car which is a 2008 350Z Grand Touring 6MT.

Here's the list of mods for the other car:

Injen SP1987 CAI
Stillen HFC
Bassani Exhaust

Now here's the list of mods for my car:

Injen SP1987 CAI
AAM HFC
Stillen 304SS Headers
Bassani Exhaust
UpRev Osiris Dyno Tuned

Both cars were dyno'ed on the same dyno, just different days. Notice that I have headers and a tune over the other car yet he makes 15-20ft lbs of torque and horsepower more than me througout the entire powerband. I know different days under different conditions makes a difference but not 15-20 horsepower and torque difference.

Both runs were done in 5th gear. The only reason my car goes up to 7500 RPM's in 5th is because the speed limiter was removed when my car was tuned.

Was this done on the same dyno? Not DJ vs DD? Same elevation?

Bryce, i have a feeling that the headers are the culprit. I haven't read anything regarding HR aftermarket headers making power.

Something is wrong, I just know it. With Osiris you should be 300+ imo.

Maybe a compression check would help?

I believe so. Both were done at Z Car Garage.

Don't think so. Looks like both are SAE corrected.

I forgot to post that both dynos were done in 5th gear. The only reason my dyno goes up to 7500 RPM'S is because my speed limiter was removed when they did the tune.

Actually we did a before and after dyno with the headers and they did indeed make power. I honestly have no idea what it is. I feel like putting the car back to stock and dyno each mod separately. When I look over my dynos I think I either lost power when they swapped exhaust or it has something to do with my intakes. I do know that all the mods I've done have been show to make power, not lose power.

Who installed the parts? Maybe some part is installed incorrectly? Maybe its the HFCs?

Both cars had all mods done as well as dyno'ed at Z Car Garage. Is the consensus that my numbers somehow aren't right? I should be making more power than my car is currently producing? That's the way I feel.

Exactly, I'm thinking the same. You have headers and Osiris as well, you should be making at least 15 hp more. How many miles do you have on the car? It could be that you have a bad engine.

??? can you try to reflash back to stock and see if the Stock ECU makes adjustments based on your mods. Maybe the reflash is bad or messed something up????
