Its down to drivers, to me the Z wins. Just have your launch down pat though. and go to a track to do this and get your times.

Im just searching for satisfaction with my Z.. I went from a Turbo car to a Z and quite honestly the Z isn't as fast as i thought it out to be before i bought it.
Didn't you know it to be a 13 second car before you bought it?
well from my experience when i was into racing and from what i saw. I saw a 05 full bolt on with 4.10gears go up with another 08 z (so what the video said about the mustang) with just jwt intakes and the z was at the mustangs door area the whole race...... So idk honestly but from a roll most likely the z from a dig it is going to be a drivers race and 2. dont street race learn from me(i have to go back to court because now there trying to get me for reckless driving (but the felony charge was dismissed back in jan.) Either way take it to a track!
Stock for stock, even without a "perfect" launch, I have consistently beaten my friend's GT at the dragstrip. Learn a little about drag racing, adjust your tire pressure, etc. and you should win. But somehow...since a kid wants to race you for 50 bucks...I doubt we will hear about a legitimate race.
I've got an 05 Z with intake, intake manifold, 5/16 spacer and headers. I raced a bone stock 08 GT. I won in both green light and rolling starts. But I agree, it's all driver... I guess I'm just the sh*t.
