^ +1 lol. Pretty sure I have my old csc if measurements are needed by anyone. I thought about finding another CSC to work but just haven't had the time to do the research. Even if an adapter plate of some sort was needed, there has got to be one out there that will work.

I just ordered the parts from the dealer and it will be here next Sunday. The price for all the parts was around $100 minus the fork, they said they don't have it in stock and it will take 60 days to get here from Japan (we have the worst dealer in the world) I'm going to the wreckyard this weekend and if I don't find it there I will overnight it from US.

^but someone can still inquire if they'd be interested in making a csc for the hr and vhr engines, i'm sure it will sell. they'll be the only one's on the market with a fix for it.

I think to have Tilton doing something like that, they need to see a lot of 350HRZ or 370Z in racing like koni challenge... than, probably they'll develop a solution.

an average CSC from tilton is about 500$ pretty much "naked" of any accessory... assuming somebody willing to check the dimension, find a suitable replacement that can connect to the throwout bearing and custom mill an interface base, we are still looking at 7/800$... (plus the labor)

do you really see a huge market for something like this that isn't racing where you pay 5K for a flywheel/clutch assembly and you are happy about that.

yeah, you're right, at that price the market gets rather slim...

Default we should ccontact Autech or Nismo

we should ccontact Autech or Nismo, they use the Vq35hr in some series, so someone must of re-invented it somewhere. Then again they all have Sequential shifters.

they are not using stock transmissions, so it wouldn't be relevant

Red face

I'm so sorry guys to say this but I'm starting to get cold feet on this project for this reasons:

1-Having problems to get the right parts from the dealer (the only fork they have and sold it to me wont match the release bearing pic below)

2-Its been over a month now for me without my car and I just installed the TT kit and I want to enjoy that.

3-Just noticed that ATS modified and installed the front cover of 03-06 350z!!! I don't think I can get that for now.

So, I'm thinking about putting this project on hold and buy the damn CSC for now until I get the right parts. I dunno for now I will talk to my mechanic today and see

update:

I just got the right fork from the tranny wrecked yard for $3.00 with its springs and I got the rest of the parts from the dealer (I will post all the parts part numbers and prices later today), the only thing is left is the front cover from the 03-06 tranny that I will look for it in the tranny wrecked yard today.

Pics of the fork: (after two minutes of cleaning it with gas.... it will look as good as new )

I hope to get everything finished in couple of days. yaaay.

P.S the TT kit is finished and waiting for the tune. I just got the spark plugs from the dealer, they are
DENSO:
PLUG TYPE FXE24HR11(SIP IRIDIUM)
DENSO PART NUMBER 267700-6970
OEM PART NUMBER 22401-JK01D

from the G37. they are one step colder. they are for ~$170 for the 6 plugs.

This is a pic from the last time I was there:

update:

We put the tranny back on the car and need to refill the clutch oil and give it a try, but we will not find out for sure until I got the car tuned so I can drive it on the street.

P.S. I will edit the first post and put everything there once I have it tested out.
