A solution for the csc (Concentric Slave Cylinder) problem.
at this time im not to worried. if you were putting the complete kit together it would of been great. i understand you guys are busy and im not trying to knock you. i myself would rather just have the whole kit with the bracket made. that way i can just do the swap in a couple of hours instead of pulling the tranny having taking the time to have someone make the bracket. my car is my daily driver so its not that easy for me to have my car out of commision.
sorry - after giving it considerable though, I decided we're just going to take a pass on this altogether. I've got too many other things on our radar at the moment, and don't have the time to start test fitting all the various possible ways there are to go about accomplishing this. Perhaps we'll look to it again at some point in the future.
hope is not lost. im trying to pick up a second tranny which i can do this with. if i can pick this one up cheap ill be making the kits myself. just gonna have to get a tranny as i don't wany any downtime on my car for that long a period of time
Any luck with the second tranny?
I say, if anyone's able to wait a bit, I would see how the Southbend cluches turn out. They claim to address a strong possible cause to the CSC failing. Plus they're looking into redesigning the CSC.
i have a second tranny although it is not an hr. didn't think about it really but it will give me what i need to make the parts. but after watching the ats video im curious to know why the moved clutch pivot arm bolt so low on the arm, instead of just using it where it was meant to be. but now i have something to work with.

damn i need an hr tranny to do this. they look exactly the same to me from the diagrams, so im just lost to why they moved the arm pivot ball down. the only thing i can see is that they used the long arm with a short pivotball instead of using the 03 setup. anyone able to help me out on this??

I think it will depends on which parts (fork and pivot) are you using.
With all of the recent thread about the HR/VHR clutch problems, I thought about bumping this thread to show people that there is a permanent solution for the CSC problem.
My car after this mod was running really great with my old quad clutch and +500whp abuse. Though the engines didn't last long, but never had problems with the transmission/clutch.

The solution is to upgrade the CSC and Master when you replace the clutch.

Show me threads where folks are having trouble after replacing the master and slave that wasnt a bleeding, pedal or install issue?
Not saying it cant happen, but I like a thing called proof.
