Loss muffler=loss power?

I say do it. Take the muffler off, gut the cats. You should punch holes in you air filters too to let more air into the throttle bodiez. Then add a turbonator and you'll be golden like a shower.
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take it off. Take out your air filters. Spray gasoline into your throttle body. PUT a giant spoiler on it and ebay canards. Then burn it to the ****ing ground!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I had to choose, I'd choose getting a knockoff over removing the stock muffler. But I also picked Ben Roethlisberger as my starter over Jay Cutler on my fantasy football team. Little did I know Jay would be the better choice

no car needs back pressure to make power, it just needs to maintain the proper level of exhaust velocity. exhaust velocity and back pressure are 2 completely different things. for all the kids out there claiming back pressure this and back pressure that, do some research before talking out of your *** (and posts on here by someone else doesn't count as research).
to OP,
you won't lose any power by removing the muffler, but chances are you won't gain anything either, well just a really loud exhaust...
