Default Dyno Results

Sup guys,

I went out to Z1 for the first time this weekend to their dyno day and had a great time! Very cool guys and I'll definitely be back there. Anyways it was also my first time to dyno a car and I was very happy with the results! Stock 370Z's were putting down ~277 and I put down 270 with just my cat-back exhaust. I think I made more torque on the first two pulls but had a few less hp.. I'm waiting on them to send me those graphs.

P.S. I had clean air filters. (Just replaced with OEMs.)

I'm not sure, I wasn't driving. I'm not even really sure how a dyno works, how does it know the RPMs? I'm guessing it has to do with some little thing they clipped onto a wire near my engine. Regardless, power was dropping so I guess it doesn't matter.

I know the number doesn't really matter because all dyno's are different. The only thing I'm paying attention to is the comparison to the 370's on the same dyno. I will be using the same one though after my future mods.

Isn't that where you are supposed to do it? Some sort of 1:1 ratio? Or does it matter? I dunno, I'm new to this stuff.. but I trust that Z1 knows what they're doing. /shrug
