Default Clutch/csc replacement guidence

Hey guys.

I just had my stock 07 csc go out on me the other day. Needless to say, nissan already said they replaced it once(the owner before me had it done on march 3rd 08) and wont cover it again. So after a bit of work and getting the tranny dropped (thanks to my dads help) ive decided that im going to replace the clutch since its already got 50k on it.

So what im looking for is a clutch (maybe flywheel dont have a whole lot of money and stock flywheel seems to still be in good shape) I dont race or anything, it is my DD for when im not ridin my motorcycle (groceries, dates ect...). I also would like to upgrade from this shitty nissan CSC to something that wont die at 40k.

Also should i upgrade the lines to SS? if i remember right there is only the one line to replace right?

id like to stay around 7-800 if i get a flywheel, or 400 if i dont.

So if someone would be nice enough to help point me in the right direction id really appreciate it. im still gonna search around to see what i can find.

Thanks,
Justin

I wouldn't trust the CSC in the HR, even if NASA build it

I'm surprised that the dealer's not willing to perform the repair. Is the car still under warranty? If so, to me, the dealer should be repairing the faulty part. Just my 2 cents.

Since your trans is dropped, obviously the dealer is out. Suggest the route MDHRZ is pointing out. It's probably a little over your budget if you include the flywheel, but suggested if your trans is already out. Until Cuztompartz's metal CSC comes out, he has a bearing sleeve that seems to work very well with the stock CSC and aftermarket clutches. Good luck
