Thumbs down Incredibly Sporadic and frequent SES blinkning while driving!!!

Short story; headers, hfc's, y-pipe, and single. Last mod put on over 5 months ago. Now today, when I was driving, ses light turns on and then off for half of my clutch depressions, 90% of the releases, when the shifter is going through gates, completely randomly when in gears 1, 2, and 3, not at all in fourth, when I use my left turn signal (seriously), and when cruising, but only for about .5 seconds. DOESN'T EVER STAY LIT!! Doesn't ever light up when decelerating. Can't get a code, because the light is not on when stationary, and I don't own and OBDII. WHAT THE HECK IS MY CAR DOING? DOES IT HAVE TEH AIDS?

It seriously flashes like a strobe light with no sense of rhythm. Completely random, except for most of the time when the clutch is in limbo. It is infuriating, and I'm worried about my car. And I'm stuck at home. Anyone ever seen anything like this???

How safe is it to drive? Sometimes when I hit a bump it lights up, but might be coincidence. What could be loose that would trip the ses light whenever I shift??

Also, no actually noticeable things wrong with the car. Smoth idle, no sputtering, smooth to redline, no hissing, stalling or anyhting...

only real way to know is to Log the car while its duplicating the Problem / situation. and see what the computer is seeing. to see if the ECM itself is triggering the SES light, or not. once we know if the ECM is triggering the light or not we go from there

if the ECM is triggering the SES light we see why it's doing it and start the hunt there. if the ECM is not triggering the SES light we start by tracing wiring making sure that the Pin on The ECM BCM and cluster wiring have no apparent short in between. after all the ECM triggers the SES light by supplying ground to the proper pin on the cluster.

its one of those problems that has to be addressed by a professional experienced Nissan tech. such as myself or someone with lots of electrical know how and troubleshooting.

it can be a cheap fix of a couple hundred bucks, or a very expensive fix. Electrical work is very hard to give a price for over the net phone or from simply hearing the problem specially with something like that that there seems to be an electrical gremlin running around the system

I believe this is actually talked about in your manual, I'm having issues with adobe. Review your manual it talks about the different things the SES light does.

ur gonna get it in the butt at nissan ^^^^^^

sounds like a short though somewhere if the car is not getting a code when u scan it...even is a ses light comes on and goes off the code would still be there until the car is driven thru a whole drive cycle without coming back on..so in ur case it would have a code if it were truly causing a check engine light
