found the issue today

 

got some headgaskets on order and the heads will be done being resurfaced later this afternoon so hopefully can start putting it back together mid next week when the headgaskets arrive

 

I hope everything goes well and you get all the bugs out this time.

 

headgasket is arriving today and reassembly will start. Turbo's are shipping out from gtm today aswell so those should be in friday or monday. And i ordered a set of ID 1000's just for some head room that should be in sometime next week. if all goes well car should be up and going early april

 

Beautiful Z mate! What size is the intercooler piping or what is the size of the inlet/outlets on the intercooler?
I gather the pipework is the same OD as the throttle bodies? I've tried to find the size on the net without success

its 3" on the in and outlets and then tappers down to match the throttlebodies

got a good deal from 08nismoz and picked up his haltech platinum and HR patch harness today. car is now done XD just needs to go back together

on another note i was browsing through youtube and found a recent video of you with the c5 vette and a cobra i think. you know what happened loll

i was like hey those cars look familiar.

 

watch the one in my sig, and yea lol i ended up getting a bunch of fix it tickets from that video you speak of. got them all signed off the next day was pointless lol

 

holy cow that thing pulls like a unicorn. maybe i can take shotgun one of these days. going to nissanfest?

 

i am going but the car wont be ready in time, blew out the headgasket so its down getting rebuilt atm everything is coming on friday to throw it back together so hopefully it should be up in 2 weeks since theyre wont be any waiting on parts. Got some 262 jwt cams id 1000cc injectors some gt 3076r snails and a haltech for this go around

 

I should have asked this in my previous post, what size are the throttle bodies?

me too xD, and ty! budget hasnt been to bad its all been in peices so was alot better than getting hit with it all at once xD got a hook up on all the labor at my friends shop, and parts aswell from os giken and stoptech and JP on the kit

 

havent had a chance to go up there yet, was going to go today but i got roped into driving my buddies gtir to a show for him he took his IS F and wanted them both there
