Default 2007 Nissan 350z hr mild bolt on thread!!!

Here is the plan

I have recently purchased the osiris tuner, K&N drop ins, Motordyne "art" pipe, and tdx2!

I am planning on doing a pre dyno before I put the mods on in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Then I will get a pre tune and post tune dyno in Brooks, Alberta(Westers Garage).

Lastly, because the pre parts/tune dyno will be on a different dyno i will eventually get a post tune/parted dyno at the original shop in Saskatoon.

This will take time, I am getting married next week and then honey moon but hope to get to toon town(Saskatoon) before the end of may and have it tuned by June or July at the latest!

Thread title is exciting. Thread itself not so much.

Lol, I agree. I hope to have the title match the thread soon enough. Patience is a virtue. I must comment I find it quite funny everyone has something negative to say when I post. I hope you appreciate the money and time it will take to get multiple dynos for fellow 350z enthusiasts sake and my curiosity. Thank you ace32x for the positive attitude on the last post. I wanted to put this thread in the right place. If someone knows how to delete threads let me know please.

scuba306 What dyno are you using in Saskatoon? I just got off the mustang dyno at Performance Plus and put down 277.1 whp at 6900rpm, JWT pop charger, Crawford Hi-flow cats, and Injen true dual exhaust, jwt flywheel and exedy clutch, no tune. 07 base model.

Contact a moderator to delete thread.

Whats exciting to you is not so much for others. Don't take it personally. I hope to see some decent gains from your breathing mods especially since you plan on going back to same dyno. Keep track of temp and humidity and try to match between the two different runs if possible.

I guess I shouldn't have put the exclamation marks in the title . If you have nothing good to say why say it. I guess you may be onto something though, I am excited and should have waited until I am done so people have something to read not a useless thread for now. Anyway, Good suggestion on temp and humidity. Do you mean an overlap of the dyno results if possible?

I understand i will pray to the weather gods to give me good comparable temps for a more accurate results. Sorry ace32x i c everyone has the same profile pic and found out why it is hard to find a pic that is 45 kb lol. Thanks to R350Zz33 and pss350z for sharing some insight and or excitement! Hope to have some good info for those of you that would like to do some simple DIY bolt-ons.

I was suggesting temp and humidity. I wouldnt even bother going on a hot and humid day for the second dyno runs you plan doing for the camparison. As for an overlap/overlay whatever, definately as you want to see your gains throughout. Bring a memory stick and keep your results as they may delete or lose them. Id also get A/F ratios just to see how good your tune is and maybe some of the more knowlegable guys can give you some feedback.

Update: Wow time can really move fast. well this thread is still boring but hope to add some content this year. I have k&N drop ins, art pipes, with the tdx2. self tuned for a year and just put an e tune on last fall. Also new rubber last year. 255,35r18, 285,30r19 like the new rubber but will go with 255,40,r18 and 285/35r19 next time. dd neads clearance and without lowering, this profile tire is too small and the larger will fit. hope to get a dyno tune this year and also hope to do injen intakes. I also just bought and act clutch kit. i don't plan on doing the flywheel this year. Can i use my stock pressure plate and disc with the lightweight flywheel?

Just bought my HR back in November

Have ART PIPES installed with stock everything else.

Haven't lost to a 370 yet.... or any other slightly modified 350's. I've got a couple HR's I'm tied with. Literally have a vid of a 140 mph fly by and you can't see who wins... that close. lol

Default Uprev dyno tuned

Update : injen cai, art pipe, tdx2 exhaust, uprev (shell 91)(272whp DynoJet 3rd), tuned by Danny Dunning, Winnipeg, Canada. Danny figured he can work on the tune some more, but after our 6 hour drive home with some performance logs done I can attest the car feels much more smooth and shaved 2.5 tenths on a 0-60 log. The tune is great and I hope to spend Another session before season end.

I read the tittle and thought to myself? Mild bolt on hr, well that's just an intake and exhaust. Maybe test pipes if he's sassy. This thread delivered completely and matched the tittle.

I have a vid on the dyno, and a 4th gear pull before the tune was complete and the 3rd gear at 270, but I need to figure out how to post them.

He did most of his tuning in 3rd. Not sure why, quicker, easier on transmission... Dunno. The tuner did not know what gear 1:1 was and neither did I, now I know it's 5th. (he's actually builds and tunes beast turbo Hondas. His civic is 800 horse). I was shooting for 290 to 300 so I'd say we were closer than we thought if we did a 5th gear pull.

You should be more than that when you dyno in 5th. Am at 291 with intakes and open pipe.
