After the first pull, Roger stated that the tune from them might not be bad but he will try his best. He added his base map and made 10 more whp after only working for 15 mins 2nd pull. He was like man they didn't do a whole lot. Yup I told him They maybe 3 pulls if that much. Went to gas station and when I came back it was down(hp logic)

So at the end of the tuning session roger got the car to 295 whp 257 wtq. Up from the 269whp 242wtq....I tried to 3 runs today at my local dyno jet that I did my stock baseline on. No luck tho dyno is out of service till about wednesday.
****, so all you added was the plenum and retune and it did over 20rwhp....?

It's also getting cooler here, so that helps. The weather this last week has been much nicer. Awesome gains though, let me know when you're ready to rerun.

Yea 10 to 15 isnt bad on a mustang dyno. We spend much more on intakes for less. You had a 370 right?..how was it man...idk i might grt one jus that the performance isnt much diff.

The difference is very negligible. Its a driver's race regardless of what you hear especially from the 370 guys. I went from a DE to a VHR never knowing the HR so my experience pretty dramatic. Then I got seat and race time with the HR vs the VHR and allot of us came to realize these cars are SOO close in performance. My 370 made 14rwhp more bone stock than my HR bone stock. Same dyno, near identical conditions. They dyno better but they perform near identical. To me, not worth the it. The undeniables about the 370 though is its refined more, better interior, slight better fit and finish compared to 07-08Z's and as far a handling...idk....It seems close. Looks are completely SUBJECTIVE, and to me the classic look of the 350 is better. I lasted about 1 year in the car, it was very fickle in terms of consistent performance...traded out for a 5.0. Ive been more impressed coming from a 5.0 to an HR than I was going from a DE to a VHR

Yea your right man. Its not worth putting down a down payment and starting over payments. I will just keep what I have and have fun modding it. The new 5.0 is pretty quick from factory. Thanks for the break down or your experiences with the 2.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSPdM0V4Npk

The video is 4 years old before I switched to 4:08 gears and ran much quicker.

My 08 HR. STARTED pulling at 7,000 rpm and could have pulled till 7,700 +... With 280-290 HP. I don't think my car ever saw 5,300 rpm.

Bored SORRY, but the truth is that an H.R. produces the highest H.P. above 7,000 rpm. You should contact redline06 who is #3 on the top 25 N/A list and lives in FLORIDA. He's good, knows much and can help you.

Maybe this new found power is from his new tune compared to his shitty tune he had before?

Not really sure what you're saying man. I never said I made top power at 5600 rpm I said once I hit that rpm car started pulling. As in thats where the most dif is felt as a result of the tune.

Yea I was just comparing the gears to the tune. Saying that the tune made more of a difference.

The only way i would consider 3inch intakes is if its cold air intakes. Actually a 370 made 329 whp on his mustang dyno with custom 2.75 inch...11 more than other 3.7 L
