Default 350z HR Bolt-Ons Dyno Updated 8/6/14

Got my baseline done last night before I start doing mods. It was hot as hell outside in south FL. Pull 1 was done in 4th gear..2 and 3 in 5th and run 4 was done in 3rd for free

I took vids but the sound quality on my mytouch 4g sucks. Waiting on the vids that my buddy took with his iphone 5. One question I thought my 5th gear was 1:1 isnt that the run that I should have made more power in ? . The owner said no 4th is 1:1

Update 4-11-2014

Quick pic at my girl's house. Painted wheels I know ricer. The bad wheel needs more paint.

Current Mod list

Injen cold air intakes
4.08 final drive
Disconnected the pipe that goes into the muffler(ricer mod lol)

Coming soon(in 2 weeks)

Agency power 3inch single
stillen y pipe
top speed test pipes

Base I made 273 whp and 244wtq. Now am at 291whp and 249 Wtq. Car pulls like no other. Only loss is to a bmw 335i medium modded. Another hr here in fl made 287 with these intakes. Full exhaust is on its way. New dyno coming soon.

Run 1 284 done in 4th gear
run 2 290 done in 5th gear
run 3 291 done in 5th
run 4 done in 3rd

UPDATED 8/6/14

DST motorsports dyno day. 2007 350z hr. Top speed Pro 1 Test pipes stillen y pipe Agency power 3 inch single exhaust injen cold air intakes and 4.08 final drive No tune. 301 whp 266 wtq

Here is the dyno sheet guys. File 183 was in 4th gear. 185, 186 and 187 was done in 5th. 186 my numbers were low because car slipped on dyno. My tires were a bit wet from rain.

-------------------------------------------------------UPDATE AUG 27----------------------------------------------------------------

Got my car dyno tuned a couple days ago at hplogic. Car was running rich at wot nd lean while cruising. Got that taken car of. Car picked up more power with the upRev tune. Tuner also notified me that I have an exhaust leak. Well, the pipe is completely open needs gasket and bolts -_-. So probably could pick up some more power when thats fixed. Happy with the tune but for $550 thought that the tuner would have spent a lil more time. It took around 30 mins . The runs were done in 4th gear maybe thats why they seem a bit low. Car does not feel more responsive or anything. Maybe a tad bit when gas is really low. I made only 275whp after 30 mins of tuning. Retune and headers coming up soon also researching 4.36 gears. Going to try pros tuning next guys there are making 300 with the same mods on a mustang dyno. This was on a mustang dyno btw.

2 step lol mainly for show and I like it

-------------------

Bolt ons idling

I did the same thing. Fourth is 1:1 in autos. Fifth is 1:1 in manuals. So I've been told.

As far as 1:1,he is wrong because the 350z with its 6MT the 1:1 is on the 5th gear. Look in the FSM and show that to him the next time you go and see him.
1st 3.794
2nd 2.324
3rd 1.624
4th 1.271
5th 1.000
6th 0.794
Reverse 3.446

unless its an AUTO !
1st 3.842
2nd 2.353
3rd 1.529
4th 1.000
5th 0.839

Reverse 2.765

and when I did the test on the dynojet I was getting an average of 319whp SAE in the 5th and 310whp SAE in 4th gear. take it with a grain of salt.
On my 370z but its the same exact principle.

you can download the FSM online for free ,,

its a bit hard to know which pull in your graph is for which each gear because they aren't in order and its black n white picture .
my only guess is to locate the 2 lines that were done in 5th gear which should be those 2 that are the most closer from each other from the start to the end .. the 2 other lines looks to be your pull in 4th and 3rd gear.
the 3rd gear should be the lowest line in your picture

but why 4 & 5 has relatively the same top power ... no idea, you are lucky ? hehe

lol no am sure which ones were in 5 th nd 4. He told me after each run because we had a big debate on which is 1:1. 4th was the first run then 2 runs in 5th and last in 3rd gear...lol damn forgot the scanner at work is black and white

Nice numbers, where in coopercity did you dyno? I live in Dania and have been looking for a good place to base dyno. I just moved down from central Fl.

Thanks, Oh okay cool. It's a shop called dstmotorsports. They are really cool $70 for 3 pulls. Going back soon with my friend to dyno his subaru wrx. There is a drag strip out west by my house called county line drap strip. They have a street night 20$ to race 7pm-12. 5$ to watch and you choose what type of race you want with who...20, 40 roll or dig anything goes.

You definitely should man. It's easier to compare numbers with other people since most people use dyno jet.

Not too bad. Call them and schedule a couple runs and let us know what you get.

Hey guys just a small update. Just waiting on the agency power exhaust to come in. According to the FedEx tracking app that should be Monday . Trying to schedule to get all the parts installed and a few pulls on the dyno Monday or Tuesday if only the shop would answer my call.

Hoping to get to the 300 whp mark. Also a little weight saving by going single exhaust. Should be able to save 60 pounds or so I think ?

Agency power 3inch single
stillen y pipe
top speed test pipes

Let me know if anyone wants any of the exhaust parts being removed.
