350z HR Bolt-Ons Dyno Updated 8/6/14
Got my car dyno tuned a couple days ago at hplogic. Car was running rich at wot nd lean while cruising. Got that taken car of. Car picked up more power with the upRev tune. Tuner also notified me that I have an exhaust leak. Well, the pipe is completely open needs gasket and bolts -_-. So probably could pick up some more power when thats fixed. Happy with the tune but for $550 thought that the tuner would have spent a lil more time. It took around 30 mins . The runs were done in 4th gear maybe thats why they seem a bit low. Car does not feel more responsive or anything. Maybe a tad bit when gas is really low. I made only 275whp after 30 mins of tuning. Retune and headers coming up soon also researching 4.36 gears. Going to try pros tuning next guys there are making 300 with the same mods on a mustang dyno. This was on a mustang dyno btw.
HP logic's dyno reads very low, my car did 240 stock there. It's lower than the normal mustang dyno. Don't go dyno the car three different places to get a bigger number, the car won't be any faster. How much did they gain from before/after at HP?
wow 240 stock for an hr is pretty low. Now I am not going to run from dyno to dyno to get higher numbers. Just thought 30 mins was kinda fast. They said I gained 10 hp from their baseline. So around 265 before and 275 after.

If you want record breaker numbers, twilight performace down in miami will get you there. Every car I know that puts up questionable, too high numbers, I ask them and they all dyno there. Doesn't make the car any faster at all.
Run my car before you do any crazy things like gears, it's a soild 104 trap car on motor and it hasn't changed, should be a good baseline. If you pull me by a mile, go to PBIR and run 12's.
I was at the track when the N/A 370z record holder set that record of 12.24@111. His forum name is Jnaut.
I believe he had his car tuned at Logic and 309 h.p. comes to mind. We went racing 2 or 3 times, never ONCE did he mention his dyno sheet/h.p. or tune.
He checked out my mods or lack of them
& I checked his which were many but all were smart & performance oriented. He also was an excellent driver while I was having 2nd. gear transmission problems. Later it was DEALER replaced under warranty.
That was when I was using BIAS front radials & ply slicks/tires. That mixture moves the car all over the track & is too scary for some. My completed runs were 12.7's 12.8's & 12.9s.... Frustration mixed with a lot of fun....
After over 5 years drag racing I don't remember a racer ever showing me his dyno sheet. I can't say that for the CAR SHOW Z owners

Not sure who tuned it. Bearly spoke to the guy. Spoke to him for 3 mins tops.
That's my hr that dynoed at 287 last year at kphonox.
Got my baseline done last night before I start doing mods. It was hot as hell outside in south FL. Pull 1 was done in 4th gear..2 and 3 in 5th and run 4 was done in 3rd for free 
I took vids but the sound quality on my mytouch 4g sucks. Waiting on the vids that my buddy took with his iphone 5. One question I thought my 5th gear was 1:1 isnt that the run that I should have made more power in ?
. The owner said no 4th is 1:1

Base I made 273 whp and 244wtq. Now am at 291whp and 249 Wtq. Car pulls like no other. Only loss is to a bmw 335i medium modded. Another hr here in fl made 287 with these intakes. Full exhaust is on its way. New dyno coming soon.
Run 1 284 done in 4th gear
run 2 290 done in 5th gear
run 3 291 done in 5th
run 4 done in 3rd

Here is the dyno sheet guys. File 183 was in 4th gear. 185, 186 and 187 was done in 5th. 186 my numbers were low because car slipped on dyno. My tires were a bit wet from rain.

Lol ex 335i owner here . All you need is a jb4 and e85 and 350whp easy. No driver mod will help.

Hes crazy man and extremely annoying. I never once said these dynos will make my car perform better in 1/4 mile or that dyno is a better way of testing. I know trap speed and 1/4 mile is the best testing a person can do. All I do is test my mods on usually the same dyno to see if there is a slight gain or not that is all.
