Would have bought one already. However they will not make me one for my auto!

Thumbs up Bump

Sasha,

I'm wondering if you would now be trying to line up the 370z's V.2 kit for the HR 350z?

What would be the expected turn around time for the line up and return of the car?

What time frame you would want a donor Z?

Would we have to drive the car to our shop or what would be the means of transportation? (from NY it's a 2460.0mi, 36hr 34min drive...)

I know you're busy and have a lot of interest for these kits on here and the 370z site as well, would there be a possibility of a exclusive group buy when you are able to produce these kits efficiently?

Just asking questions I think people would want to see. (also really like your kits/work and am actively saving up for one).

Regards,

Mike

Mike, sorry I missed this inquiry.

When dealing with a donor car/test car I would really like to stay local. That way I can check up on the kit, how it performs and if there are any issues that come up after the install.

The demand for the twin scroll kits on the VHR cars (which I believe would be a direct bolt on with the HR Z's) is very high, and I am looking at increasing production over the next few months. If I can get the volumes up, I will re-visit this and go from there.

Ahh! Well I'm hoping you get a HR donor car soon I'm sure there is lots of interest for a product like this such a great price for great performance!
Worse comes to worse I might buy a VHR kit and if it doesn't fit have the shop do a custom fabricated pipe/extension where needed.

Thanks for getting back and updating!

Sasha, i've called around to most of the major shops on the east coast and i'm really really considering getting the VHR kit if you don't find a donor by March/April timeframe.

I understand that this is not going to be an easy task but i'm willing to be the test dummy for all the struggling HR guys who want boost. If parts need to be re-fabricated/re-routed i can and will keep you in the loop as much as possible.

I'm with in 15 hours driving distance, I however do not have the funds at this time for a turbo kit. I can check with a few in the group here if you'd like.

This should be something we work towards. I still routinely visit this post. I'm seeing all these nice new cars coming out, and the performance cars are getting more and more power; and getting so fast. I've thought about trading out, but in the back of my head I always end up saying "it probably wont beat BP single turbo Z". So i'll keep my car and be patient; and hopefully this does become a reality. I'd love to keep my car and still hang (or walk) the new Camaros, maybe even the Vette's?

Just a quick update on this. I have now sold a VHR twin scroll kit to a customer with an HR car/engine. Hope to ship this out in a couple of weeks, and he will confirm that this kit does indeed fit the HR cars without any modifications.

I'm crossing my fingers for this trail blazer whoever he may be. Good luck! And most certainly be kind enough to report back with what you find.
