Default Vq37vhr swap in a hr 350z!

Hello everyone just finally coming to the completion of my build, I have an 08 Z and it was running a boosted performance kit, and was tuned by RS Enthalpy. Not sure to bad tuning or just common engine failure, engine threw a rod while having some fun. My newest setup is a VQ37VHR short block with fresh head gaskets, and ARP head studs. The block bolts right up to HR heads. I also added a few more upgrades as well, added 1000cc injectors, 485lph fuel pump, CJM fuel return and fuel pressure regulator, Haltech platinum, and flex fuel. Honestly the shout out goes to RZG Motorsports, he gave me the idea, did a lot to make this swap possible, and also doing the tuning. I'm shooting for 700HP on e85, but know that's a reach so I'll be posting updates as well! Please also check out my YouTube channel as well in my signature and please subscribe! Pictures are attached.

Hi can you give us more info on the 3700cc build. Did you do anything with the pistons? What is the compression ratio?

Did nothing to the block but inspect, and make sure all bearings, rods, pistons, and cylinder walls were In tact.

I would think that a vq37vhr longblock will bolt right up to hr 350z transmission since they're the same and you could utilize the heads as well if you swap over the donor cars ecu and wiring harness. To be honest i like the 350z bodystyle way better so i think it'd be worth it if youre doing a na build.
