So I’m trying to replace the clutch and I’m at the point of dropping the transmission, there’s a hard line attached to the master cylinder (I believe?) and you need a 10mm open end wrench to remove it. No matter what I try it won’t turn and I’m afraid the wrench is going to round the nut. Anybody else encounter this issue or know a way around it?
A line wrench is a must. An open-ended wrench is very likely to strip it. If you don't have a set, they are worth the investment (cheap). They were the first tool I bought myself when I started building trucks and have proven to be indispensable.
If you can pop off the U-shaped metal clip with a set of pliers, then you might gain some more space in there to loosen that nut and get a better angle of attack.

+1
Spray some WD40, PB Blaster, etc, on it overnight & get yourself at least 1 line wrench. (It's a box end with a slot cut in it to slip over the line)
Edit;
Please replace that hose between the master and operating cylinder. When our 97 Pathfinder MT was around 5-6 years old, the line blew with my wife (and three kids in baby seats). It was in first gear at a stoplight & they shot into the intersection.

Reason: Line replacement experience.
