Default Help identifying a leak

Hey, following from my previous thread, I found a leak on the passenger side of my engine. I'm not sure what it is, but I am inclined to believe it is coolant since my car has a perfume like smell.

I marked the place where its leaking on someone else's hr engine.

Here are a few videos of the leak in action

I might have removed the black squiggly part above the place where it was leaking when I changed the spark plugs, not sure if that might be related. I guess the next step is to remove the tower bar and cover and see if I can get a closer look at whats happening.

Anyone know what that part is and what I could be leaking?

Thanks

I certainly hope that part is not leaking. You've highlighted the fuel pressure regulator that feeds high pressure fuel into the fuel rail.

Take the cover off, should be easy to see after that. It should be held on with 5 10mm bolts, or 3 bolts and 2 nuts actually. I don’t recall there being cooling system parts in that area…I really hope it’s not a leak from behind the timing cover

If it is t he fuel pressure regulator leaking, would I just need to replace it like this?

I realized that the engine cover comes in 2 parts and I didn't need to remove the tower bar to access the park I'm interested in, just 2 nuts and 2 bolts lol.

Yup it does seem to be leaking outta the fuel damper, near the cap

Seems like I just have to replace this part right?

Is this the one?

HR part costs more than double the DE lol

Also autozone seems to sell just the cap for cheap, but I'm not sure how I would install this

Thanks

Yeah, I ended up getting the OEM part.

Seems kinda sketchy I was driving around with a fuel leak though, but its a project car so I don't drive it often.

Would I want to clear the fuel lines or the fuel pressure before changing this part?

Yes, but its fairly low pressure, and seems to have a decent leak, if you leave it sit overnight it should have no more pressure in the line due to the leak. But if you want, you can find the fuel pump fuse or relay, pull it out and start the car until it stalls.
